My mistakes of 2021 and what I learned from them.

We are a talent development company, training Business Trainers. Being in charge also calls for some reflection on my own performance.ย What I a good leader for our firm this year?ย Yes โ€“ we grew, a lot! However, there are four aspects that I donโ€™t like about me and that I am currently changing.

    If you are โ€žthe bossโ€œ, you might take the word literally: bossing yourself around. ..Exploit yourself. Iโ€™m no longer proud of that. (On an unconscious level, I guess I was) Itโ€™s unprofessional. In mid-January our camera continued recording after a shooting session. โ€ฆAnd yesterday I found the file and watched how I actually โ€œsaved the worldโ€, working until 3 oโ€™clock into the night. (Screenshot below) A friend said: โ€žGet safe from yourself first man!โ€œ Fortunately, this binge working didnโ€™t happen all too often. โ€ฆmaybe once a week? ๐Ÿ˜”

    Why didnโ€™t I just fill up a container, put it on a ship, paid a few thousand $ and would have considered it done. No. First, I went to Madeira in the winter of November 2020, โ€žTo check it out thereโ€œ, only to dutifully head back to Germany. Result of my analysis: People great, tax regime, great, talent there, great. Then in 2022 I pretended to be going on a long vacation there and packed half my film studio gear into three suitcases. A friend and entrepreneur asked: โ€žWhat do you plan with all the luggage, vacation?โ€œ Is wasn t vacations.Never again. If I told you what I have paid in added luggage on all these flights in 2021, you wouldnโ€™t believe it. โœˆ

    What we have spent on proper online campaigns and top marketing advisors is shameful. Today, we are in the process of changing that. I donโ€™t want to tell the number, but it barely reached a meager five digits. I think a employed manager would be fired for such misalignment of budget. The amounts I had spent on marketing in the pharmaceutical industry (for the smallest projects) is shy of comparison.     We made sure to ask our participants about their experiences, and our prospect participants really appreciate it. Marius Jost heads the trainer training of the Corporate Training Academy (until 2021 Institute for Systemic Training) as well as the specialist group online training of the BDVT. He began his professional career as an IT analyst and developed into a lobbying and PR specialist for the IT industry.
